The primary goal of OUTHOUSE is to offer a safe space for people to inform, meet, organise and make things happen. Outhouse is very often the first point of contact for people into the LGBT World and therfore their website is often the first path to discovery and information. Their existing website was looking tired, not mobile friendly and was not reflecting the outreach and friendlieness that the organisation needed..
With a "mobile first" approach to the design and layout we assisted the OUTHOUSE team in an online rebranding exercise producing a more impactful and welcoming website as well as online booking to facilitate interest in the spaces for hire at the OUTHOUSE building.
Additional custom functionality was added within an easy to use back-office to allow OUTHOUSE staff to manage content and booking assignments.
Within two days of launch, the website was put hard to work and secured sell-out of both initial events within a couple of weeks.
